SIZE OF JOB

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

  • The job holder is engaged in the production of engineering deliverables and provides guidance to the Engineers/designers.
  • The job holder reports to the Section Head and functionally to the Project Lead Engineer on projects.

JOB DIMENSIONS:

  • Preparation of all engineering deliverables under minimum supervision of the Lead Engineer.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sr. I&C Engineer to work under the supervision of Lead Engineer for Oil and Gas Projects for the following:

  • Preparation of design basis, philosophies, instrument selection, studies/reports, and recommendations.
  • Understanding of Engineering and design for DCS/ESD/PLC/F&G systems, RTU/SCADA system.
  • Preparation of various specifications & data sheets for field instruments, analyzers, ESD valves, motor-operated valves.
  • Preparation of MR, technical bid evaluation, recommendation & Vendor drawing review.
  • Checking of deliverables prepared by engineers/designers and ensures compliance with Project requirements.
  • Estimation of the man-hour requirement and assisting the procurement department.

JOB SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

MINIMUM WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • Overall: [10] yrs.
  • Oil & Gas (Upstream): [10] yrs.
  • Middle East: [ ] yrs.
  • Similar Position: [8] yrs.

OTHER HARD SKILL REQUIREMENT (TECHNICAL AND EDUCATION):

  • EPC Experience.
  • Knowledge of various International Codes & Standards, F&G detector location, Hazop, and SIL.
  • Experience in various SPI modules.

SOFT SKILLS (BEHAVIORAL):

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines at all times.
  • Attentive to details and self-motivated with the ability to motivate the team.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
