SIZE OF JOB

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

  • Perform Civil and Structural Engineering activities for Detailed Engineering, FEED Engineering, and Proposal Engineering projects.

JOB DIMENSIONS:

  • Civil and Structural Engineering activities for Detailed Engineering, FEED Engineering, and Proposal Engineering projects.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review ITB (Invitation To Bid) documents during the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions.
  • Review contract requirements for project execution and preparation of Technical Queries; prepare Inquiry requisitions for different materials and survey reports.
  • Preparation of Civil/Structural Design basis, Standard Drawings, and MTO’s.
  • Preparation and Checking of calculation reports and design drawings for Pipe racks, Technological structures, Buildings, Shelters, Equipment foundations (Static and Dynamic), Water retaining structures, and General/UG Civil works, etc.
  • Interact with other disciplines for inter-discipline activities.
  • Perform FEED and Proposal Engineering activities.
  • Handle the work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Give direction to engineers and designers wherever necessary.
  • Responsible for checking and issuing the Deliverables as per quality procedures and project schedule.

INTERNAL: With other disciplines engineering and projects whenever necessary.

EXTERNAL: For external Queries whenever necessary.

JOB SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor of Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).

MINIMUM WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • Overall: [+10] yrs.
  • Oil & Gas (Up Stream): [+5] yrs.
  • Middle East: [ ] yrs. (Not specified)
  • Minimum 10 years in Engineering consultancy or EPC Company in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industries.
  • Similar Position: [5] yrs.

OTHER HARD SKILL REQUIREMENTS (TECHNICAL AND EDUCATION):

  • Working knowledge of standard international specifications and codes i.e. BS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, DIN, UBC, and IBC codes.
  • Hands-on experience using structural software STAAD PRO, SAP 2000, Mathcad, Navis review /SPR review software, etc.
  • Working Knowledge of Geotech Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drainage, and General Civil philosophies.

SOFT SKILLS (BEHAVIORAL):

  • Able to integrate and be part of the team to deliver the assigned tasks.
