SIZE OF JOB
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
- The job holder leads the process team within a specific project, ensuring the technical integrity of the proposed design by producing required engineering deliverables for use by other disciplines.
- Reports to the project manager to provide necessary resources to meet project schedules and support the overall project execution plan.
JOB DIMENSIONS:
- Responsible for delivering essential documents such as Basis Of Design, Design Criteria, Process Design Philosophies, Modeling basis (Simulation basis & Assumption), Heat Material Balance, Process Flow Diagram, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram, Equipment & Instrument Process Datasheets.
- Attendance at all project reviews including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, 3D Model.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure technical integrity and safety of all design work in the Process discipline.
- Adhere to codes, standards, and industry regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate Process Engineers.
- Develop and maintain a quality design threshold for the Process discipline.
- Ensure Process work adheres to established budgets and schedules.
- Provide technical direction, advice, and control for Process work.
- Liaise with client discipline representatives and establish technical direction.
- Define scope, estimate, and control progress of Process engineering activities.
- Coordinate Process engineering design and drafting.
- Liaise with other discipline Lead engineers on technical issues.
- Co-ordinate and prepare input to Essential Process Documents.
- Identify areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead and develop the process engineering team.

INTERNAL:
- Engineering, Procurement, Projects, Cost Estimation & HSE.
EXTERNAL:
- Clients, Vendors, Contractors/Consultants.

QUALIFICATION:
- Four-years Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
MINIMUM WORKING EXPERIENCE:
- Overall: [15] yrs.
- Oil & Gas (Up Stream): [10] yrs.
- Middle East: [5] yrs.
- Similar Position: [15] yrs.
OTHER HARD SKILL REQUIREMENTS (TECHNICAL AND EDUCATION):
