Job Description

SIZE OF JOB

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Perform Civil and Structural Engineering activities for Detailed Engineering, FEED Engineering, and Proposal Engineering projects.

JOB DIMENSIONS:

  • Civil and Structural Engineering activities for Detailed Engineering, FEED Engineering, and Proposal Engineering projects.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of Civil/Structural Design basis, Standard Drawings, and MTO’s.
  • Preparation of calculation reports and design drawings for Pipe racks, Technological structures, Buildings, Shelters, Equipment foundations (Static and Dynamic), Water retaining structures, and General/UG Civil works, etc.
  • Interact with other disciplines for inter-discipline activities.
  • Perform FEED/Bid Proposal engineering activities.
  • Responsible for checking and issuing the Deliverables as per project schedule.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

INTERNAL:
With other disciplines engineering and projects whenever necessary.

EXTERNAL:
For external queries whenever necessary.

DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY:

JOB SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech)

MINIMUM WORKING EXPERIENCE:

  • Overall: [4] yrs.
  • Oil & Gas (Upstream): [1] yr.
  • Minimum 4 years in Engineering consultancy or EPC Company in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industries.
  • Similar Position: [3] yrs.

OTHER HARD SKILL REQUIREMENT (TECHNICAL AND EDUCATION):

  • Working knowledge of standard international specifications and codes i.e. BS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, DIN, UBC, and IBC codes.
  • Hands-on experience using structural software STAAD PRO, SAP 2000, Mathcad, Navis review/SPR review software, etc.
  • Knowledge of Geotech Engineering, Structural Engineering, Drainage, and General Civil philosophies.

SOFT SKILLS (BEHAVIORAL):

  • Works effectively as a team player in a multicultural environment, willing to adapt within a variety of situations and establish a good relationship with co-workers/peers.
