JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:<\/strong><\/p>

• Develop piping design and engineering packages throughout different phases of projects.<\/li>\n\n
• Assist in supervising and coordinating the piping workload in the department.<\/li><\/ul>

  JOB DIMENSIONS:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Key role in developing piping engineering deliverables.<\/li>\n\n
  • Participate in multidiscipline engineering tasks.<\/li>\n\n
  • Provide guidance to piping engineers and designers.<\/li>\n\n
  • Perform work with minimum supervision.<\/li>\n\n
  • Assist in planning and managing piping engineering workload.<\/li><\/ul>

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Provide guidance to a team of engineers and designers in carrying out piping engineering work.<\/li>\n\n
    • Assume responsibility for conceptual and detailed design (Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering Material Specification, Stress Analysis, Layout Engineering, etc.).<\/li>\n\n
    • Provide necessary technical information for procurement in compliance with tender specifications\/data sheets and work within budgeted man-hours and project schedules.<\/li>\n\n
    • Execute work in compliance with the project requirements and the Company\u2019s quality system.<\/li>\n\n
    • Review documents, including but not limited to calculations, reports, studies, specifications, datasheets, and drawings, and consolidation of comments.<\/li>\n\n
    • Develop and review drawings, including but not limited to plot plans, general arrangements, isometrics, support layouts, road crossings, utilities design, etc.<\/li>\n\n
    • Develop and review piping material specifications.<\/li>\n\n
    • Assist in monitoring project man-hours during execution; identify variations between contract and proposal, propose corrective actions, develop manpower charts for task assignments, establish target completion dates, and recommend cost-effective designs.<\/li>\n\n
    • Assist in monitoring productivity of engineers and quality of work produced.<\/li>\n\n
    • Procurement support for technical requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor data review, material and equipment inspections, etc.<\/li>\n\n
    • Man-hour estimations for tenders.<\/li>\n\n
    • Occasional site visits and surveys.<\/li>\n\n
    • Resolve design conflicts.<\/li>\n\n
    • Assistance with tender packages including BOQ, tender documents, scope of work, etc.<\/li><\/ul>

      Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (as a minimum).<\/p>

        OTHER HARD SKILL REQUIREMENT (TECHNICAL AND EDUCATION):<\/strong><\/p>

        • Conversant with international\/industry codes and standards.<\/li>\n\n
        • Past experience in developing piping design for FEED and EPC projects in oil and gas industries.<\/li>\n\n
        • Past exposure to construction, operation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of oil and gas facilities.<\/li>\n\n
        • Conversant with applicable computer software packages such as CAESAR II, Autopipe & Autocad.<\/li><\/ul>
