Job Purpose and Scope:<\/strong><\/p>

• Assist lead engineer in conducting engineering process work.<\/li>\n\n
• Develop work packs for FEED and detail engineering.<\/li><\/ul>

  Job Dimensions:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Develop heat and material balance, process flow diagrams (PFDs), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and supplemental diagrams for process systems under the supervision of a Lead Engineer.<\/li>\n\n
  • Perform design engineering and analysis for less complex units under general supervision of a Lead Engineer.<\/li>\n\n
  • Utilize computer-based technology for process simulation and equipment design.<\/li>\n\n
  • Develop process conceptual studies, perform process calculations, and prepare study reports.<\/li><\/ul>

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Understand the basic discipline work processes.<\/li>\n\n
    • Perform engineering tasks within the discipline.<\/li>\n\n
    • Assist lead process engineers in project assignments.<\/li>\n\n
    • Perform routine aspects of process engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles.<\/li>\n\n
    • Develop heat and material balance, process flow diagrams (PFDs), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment sizing, hydraulics line sizing, and supplemental diagrams for process systems.<\/li>\n\n
    • Utilize computer-based technology for process simulation and equipment design under the supervision of a Lead Engineer.<\/li>\n\n
    • Assist lead engineer in conducting preliminary feasibility, conceptual, optimization, or environmental studies.<\/li>\n\n
    • Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data from suppliers.<\/li>\n\n
    • Perform Process modeling and simulation using software programs such as Hysys, PRO\/II, PROMAX, Flarenet, Flaresim, UNISIM.<\/li>\n\n
    • Awareness of Industry Codes and Standards, including API 520, 521, 526, 527, 2000.<\/li>\n\n
    • Participate in Safety, environmental, and operability reviews (HAZOP, ENVID, SIL).<\/li>\n\n
    • Perform Relief system design, including PSV sizing, flare hydraulics, and radiation analysis.<\/li>\n\n
    • Provide input to Cause and Effects.<\/li>\n\n
    • Familiarity with PIPESIM for hydraulic analysis.<\/li>\n\n
    • Experience in thermal design and rating of heat exchangers using HTRI\/HTFS.<\/li>\n\n
    • Experience in transient analysis using OLGA.<\/li>\n\n
    • Familiarity with Glycol based Gas Dehydration Unit and\/or Cryogenic Storage\/refrigeration.<\/li><\/ul>
