• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years) or Mech. Draughtsman-ITI (With higher years of experience)<\/li><\/ul>

  Years and Type of Experience:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Minimum 12 years in Piping Design.<\/li>\n\n
  • Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas Projects.<\/li>\n\n
  • Minimum 6 years in a Consultancy\/EPC Background.<\/li>\n\n
  • Minimum 2 years of post-training in drafting and CADD System.<\/li><\/ul>

    Technical Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Onshore piping design for Oil, Gas, and Water fields.<\/li>\n\n
    • Ability to independently originate and check Piping Design Drawings.<\/li>\n\n
    • Familiarity with design requirements of other disciplines (Civil, I&C, Electrical, and Pipeline).<\/li>\n\n
    • Thorough knowledge of 2D and 3D Software Applications.<\/li>\n\n
    • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME B31.3, ASME VIII, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, etc.).<\/li>\n\n
    • Thorough knowledge of Pipe support Requirements.<\/li><\/ul>

        Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>

        • Execute the job in compliance with project requirements and company\u2019s Quality Systems.<\/li>\n\n
        • Meet project man-hours and schedule targets for all assigned deliverables.<\/li>\n\n
        • Work with project P&IDs, Piping Material Specifications (PMS), and other project specifications.<\/li>\n\n
        • Produce Plot Plans, GA Drawings, Layouts, Isometrics, and Bill of Materials.<\/li>\n\n
        • Liaise with engineers for the production of piping drawings.<\/li>\n\n
        • Check computer models and piping drawings.<\/li>\n\n
        • Monitor and coordinate progress of assigned supporting designers\/draftsmen.<\/li>\n\n
        • Prepare Detail Design and insulation drawings.<\/li>\n\n
        • Coordinate with other discipline engineers\/designers on piping design requirements.<\/li>\n\n
        • Prepare and check routing layouts.<\/li>\n\n
        • Assemble documentation packages and produce drawing sets.<\/li>\n\n
        • Travel to field project locations for field sketching, dimensions, system walk-downs, etc.<\/li>\n\n
        • Develop 2D and 3D CADD Designs.<\/li>\n\n
        • Independently perform assignments with minimum guidance\/supervision.<\/li>\n\n
        • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.<\/li>\n\n
        • Plan, organize, and coordinate own work to produce timely, accurate, high-quality results.<\/li><\/ul>

          Software Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>
