- Participate in multidiscipline engineering tasks<\/li>\n\n
- Provide guidance to piping engineers and designers<\/li>\n\n
- Perform work with minimum supervision<\/li>\n\n
- Assist in planning and managing piping engineering workload<\/li><\/ul>
Job Duties & Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>- Provide guidance to a team of engineers and designers for conceptual and detailed design.<\/li>\n\n
- Review documents, calculations, reports, studies, specifications, datasheets, and drawings.<\/li>\n\n
- Develop and review drawings, including plot plans, general arrangements, isometrics, etc.<\/li>\n\n
- Develop and review piping material specifications.<\/li>\n\n
- Assist in monitoring project man-hours and productivity.<\/li>\n\n
- Procurement support for technical requisitions, bid evaluations, vendor data review, etc.<\/li>\n\n
- Occasional site visits and surveys.<\/li>\n\n
- Resolve design conflicts.<\/li>\n\n
- Participate in safety and design review meetings.<\/li>\n\n
- Provide technical support to construction and commissioning teams.<\/li>\n\n
- Coordinate with other disciplines.<\/li>\n\n
- Participate in mentoring and training of younger engineers.<\/li>\n\n
- Review contract\/tender documents and identify project requirements.<\/li><\/ol>

Other Hard Skill Requirements (Technical and Education):<\/strong><\/p>- Conversant with international\/industry codes and standards<\/li>\n\n
- Past experience in developing piping design for FEED and EPC projects in oil and gas industries<\/li>\n\n
- Exposure to construction, operation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of oil and gas facilities<\/li>\n\n
- Conversant with applicable software packages such as CAESAR II, Autopipe & Autocad<\/li><\/ul>
